Nestled in the hills of Oakland is this great historical with great views, cozy venue called The Sequoyah Country Club, perfect for your wedding, keeping the nostalgic and elegant look of the early 1900’s yet with amazing and modern services fitted for an unforgettable event.
Crysthel and Greg were so great to work with, their tastes in music ranged from Motown, Beatles, Oldies to 90’s/200’s Hip Hop, 90’s and 2000’s Alternative Rock specially Weezer and who can forget about the always pleasing Pop songs from the past decades to today’s Bruno Mars R&B tunes. It was sure to put their guests on the dance floor for the evening, with the Monogram Projection we created to shine just across the room, while the Photobooth continued with some cool posses from their guests all throughout the night.
It turns out that Greg the groom used to be in a Breakdance crew and it showed as the groomsmen and groom got to show some of their moves on the Dance Floor.
Always fun when you are part of the union of a Bride and Groom but also of two different cultures Guatemalan and Albanian, having knowledge of different cultures is always a plus in the wedding field, I’m fortunate enough to have extensive knowledge in different traditions, etc… and understand the importance of making sure both sides are happy when it comes to dancing.
Vilma and Benny where really amazing to work with, traditional Albanian songs were played and both sides joined in, of course a variety of other music was played including American and Spanish.
Ceremony Coverage, DJ-MC, Photobooth Rental and Monogram Projection.
Also got to work with talented staff of the Palm Event Center including Vanessa Saenz the venue day of coordinator.

When I first got to talk to the groom “Wesley” I told him what I always tell my clients, not only do specialize in weddings. but I love doing Chinese Weddings and I proceeded to tell him why, by the end of the conversation I was already emailing him the contract almost a year in advanced from their wedding date.
So what makes Chinese and Asian weddings so interesting to me? Simple the entire culture and traditions, I’ve done so many that I can easily suggest step by step what works well etc…
Wesley and Lizhi’s wedding had guests that came from our of town, different states and also all the way from China, making this wedding fun and as perfect as possible was the a priority.

One thing I learned from doing weddings for the last 10 plus years, is that when you do a firefighter’s wedding, there’s going to be a lot of dancing and partying.
I had the pleasure to do such wedding at the Palm Event Center in Pleasanton, I remember the bride telling me, this is the best place to fit all our guests 200 + most firefighters, policemen, and nurses, and indeed it was, the Palm Event Center not only offers ample room, but great food and service.
Both the Bride and Groom being Vietnamese wanted to entertain their guests with games and prizes during dinner, and then let them dance the night away until the very end.
It was unforgettable, great energy on dance floor and on a Sunday Night.
